The St. Francis College Terriers women’s basketball team (0-1) will take on the Rider University Broncs tonight in their 2015-16 home opener.
The Terriers were defeated by the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 89-51 in the season opener Sunday.
The Terriers struggled both defensively and offensively throughout the game. They led once in the first quarter 8-7, but struggled for the rest of the game.
They showed some potential in the second quarter, scoring 16 points in just the first ten minutes and almost catching up at halftime when they trailed 34-30.
The Terriers struggled to score points for the rest of the game.
The Broncs beat Towson University 78-72 on Saturday in their season opener. Junior Robin Perkins led the game with 18 points and junior Yeliz Dogan racked up 15 points, nine rebounds and two assists.
The teams last faced each other on November 22 of last year and the Broncs won 71-60.
