Preview: The lady Terriers look to bounce back tonight as they take on the Red Flash.
Terriers lost in double overtime to Robert Morris University this past Saturday. So it will be interesting to see how the team responds in this game.
Terriers have not been playing consistently since confernce play has started. They are 6-5 when they play teams from the NEC conference.
Last game the Terriers allowed 48 points in the paint. They will need to find a way to force opponents to take outside shots.
Senior guard Jasmin Robinson was able to score 20 points last game. This could be start of something for her.
Junior guard Eilidh Simpson had a team high 23 points last game. The Terriers as a team played well offensivley.
Tonight’s matchup against the Red Flash is an importanrt one. They are in second place in the NEC conference with an 8-3 record against NEC teams.
The Red Flash are currently on a six game winning streak. Senior forward Alli Williams has been having a monster season this year.
Alli this season has been averaging a double-double. For the season Alli averages 24.0 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game.
Over the last 11 games she has scored 20 or more points. Terriers will need to find a way to contain this 6’0 superstar.
Terriers will also need to find a way to contain the Red Flash Junior guard Alexa Hayward. For the season Alexa averages 15.8 points per game.
Every game the Terriers play will be important. If they keep losing it will effect their seeding for the playoffs.
