The St. Francis College Women’s Basketball team will be hosting the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils on Friday at 7pm as well as the Bryant University Bulldogs on Sunday at 1pm to wrap up their regular season.
The Terriers are currently tied for third place with their 8-8 record in Northeast Conference play and have already secured a spot in the playoffs.
The playoffs are scheduled to begin on Wednesday March 7th and will run through Sunday March 12th. The location is still yet to be determined.
When asked about this upcoming weekend, junior Maria Palarino said: “Going into this weekend we are super excited and motivated because we have a chance to place higher than any team ever has in St. Francis Women’s Basketball history.
“Also, right now the conference rankings are pretty tight, so getting two wins would be really good going into playoffs.”
Winning the last two regular season games would be very beneficial to the team’s mental game and confidence going into the playoffs next week as they would go down in St. Francis College history for their record-breaking year.
