The St. Francis Brooklyn Men’s Water Polo team beat the Princeton University Tigers 11-9 to become the CWPA Champions on Nov. 24, 2013.

The Terriers are now the first qualifiers for the 2013 NCAA Championships.

They are now 22-10 overall.

Igor Mladenovic was named Top Player, Lazar Komandinic was named Top Rookie and Head Coach Srdjan Mihaljevic was named Coach of the Year in the CWPA Tournament Awards.

The Terriers and the Tigers were tied 1 to 1 at the end of first period.

In the second, The Terriers scored 5 goals, and led the Tigers 6-4 at halftime.

At the end of the third period, the Terriers were leading the Tigers 8-7.

In the fourth, the Terriers scored 3 goals, which allowed them to beat the Tigers 11-9.

The Terriers will advance to the NCAA Championships on Dec. 5, 2013 at 1 p.m.
