The St. Francis College Men’s Soccer team seems to have an opportunity to get back in the NEC playoff picture, even with the overtime loss they had against Sacred Heart University (SHU) earlier today.
LIU Brooklyn had already clinched the 1st seed in the conference, as well as hosting the playoffs. Saint Francis (PA) clinched the 2nd seed, leaving two spots available for grab.
In order for SFC to officially clinch a playoff spot, a win on Sunday against Mount St. Mary’s is necessary.
Along with a win against Mount St. Mary’s, If Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) loses to LIU Brooklyn AND Bryant loses CCSU tomorrow, the Terriers will get placed as the 4th seed and clinch a playoff spot.
A win by FDU or Bryant tomorrow will automatically eliminate SFC no matter what the outcome of our game will be against Mount St. Mary’s.
