The St. Francis Women’s basketball team defeated the Columbia Lions 73-47.

With the win the Terriers improved to 6-2 on the overall season and 4-0 on their homecourt.

In the first half the Terriers got out to an early lead connecting on two three’s in the first five mins of the first half and never looked back.

Not only were the Terriers have a strong offensive start but they also clamped down on the defense holding Columbia to 25.9 shooting on seven made field goals.

In the second half the Terriers continued their potent offensive execution that they established in the first half.

It was one of those nights.

An offensive rout as the Terriers scored more than double their Halftime score, achieving 44 point’s in the second half alone at 64% from the field.

High scorers for the Terriers featured F Bendetti with 14 points and 13 via F Jaymee Veney.

Up next, the Terriers will hit the road to take on Cornell at 1pm.
