The largest outdoor bouldering facility on the continent has opened up at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

DUMBO Boulders officially opened last Monday under the Manhattan Bridge near Main Street.

The new structure has already attracted many, some who are experienced and some who are not, the Boulders proprietors said.

“Perched under the majestic expanse of the Manhattan Bridge, bouldering at BBP will be unlike anywhere else,” Brooklyn Bridge Park President Regina Meyer said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming climbers of all levels this spring.”

The wall’s hand and foot grips are color coded in accordance with level of difficulty. The ground is coated with soft padding for safety. The Cliffs Climbing + Fitness — the operator of the Boulders — eventually plans to hold lessons at the site.

“Climbing is a fantastic addition to this world-class park,” The Cliffs owner Mike Wolfert said in a statement. “It offers a fun fitness challenge to people of all ages and abilities.”

Park designers Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. collaborated with climbing wall specialists Walltopia to design the attraction.

This is the Cliffs’ third location, but the first time they’ve had a permanent location appear in New York.

The cost for shoes and a day pass is $9.
