The Brooklyn Watercolor Society has an exhibition going on in the SFC Callahan Center from September 6th to the 29th.
The exhibition in the Callahan Center, “Watercolor Concepts”, is going on during the month of September.
The works vary in size and subject but all were made in the same watercolor medium and were very intricately painted and executed.
The colorful works of art are selling from $250 to over $1,200 each.
After a successful opening reception on September 6th, many of the artworks have been sold to savvy art connoisseurs who attended the reception or visited the “Meet-the-Artist” events being held this month.
Meet the artists behind these magnificent artworks on Tuesday September 24.
Artist Loretta Poole will be available for questions from 10 to 12pm, along with Ellen Hoyt from 1 to 3pm, and John Dillon from 4 to 6pm.
In addition to the meet and greet with the artists, there is also a watercolor demo with Ellen Hoyt being held in the Callahan Center.
The demonstration is a must-see and is bound to pique the interest of any art enthusiast.
Go see the exhibit before its gone and attend the closing celebration on September 29th from 3 to 4pm.
