Individuals of all ages – including SFC students! – have started their own businesses, and the digital world has a lot to with that.
Digital branding has encouraged and also assisted many small business owners to market their brands easily, efficiently and cost effectively.
St. Francis College will host a day of branding called #buildyourBRAND in the Digital World. It will be held on Tuesday, November 13 in the Callahan Center and will include a slew of events aimed at teaching and informing individuals on the benefits of branding your business digitally.
The schedule is as follows:
Registration and opening remarks from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Breakfast will be provided, and individuals will have the opportunity to network with others in their fields and beyond.
Next, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., will be a morning lecture on “Digital Branding on the Cheap”, which will detail just how affordable and cost-effective branding can be.
A mid-morning workshop will be held called “Take Charge of Your Social Media” from 11:10 a.m. to 12:40 a.m.
This will explain how you can use social media as an asset that can be powerful and highly beneficial if used properly and proficiently.
There will be a break from 12:45 p.m. to 1:25 p.m. during which lunch will be provided and further networking opportunities will come available.
Upon returning from break, an afternoon lecture from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. will be presented on “Crowdfunding for Creative Projects” which will teach business and entrepreneurs how to use this source to their advantage.
Lastly, to wrap up the day of events, a closing speaker will address attendees and certificates will be presented to those for successfully gleaning the information they need.
The SFC Radio Club will be covering the event. Members from the St. Francis College Management program and Center for Entrepreneurship will also be in attendance, as well as Hastac, an organization dedicating to finding new and innovative ways of educating and learning.
Also, it will coincide with Global Entrepreneurship Week.
